Home Services Corporate Events Gallery A la carte About Me Book Your Event

Corporate event planning in Jacksonville usually lands on someone who already has a full-time job. We take it off their desk. Sharp Designs plans, designs and installs holiday parties, awards nights, employee appreciation events, launches and team celebrations for companies across Jacksonville, Orange Park and St. Augustine, then strikes the room when the night is over. Your team gets to attend the event instead of running it.

A company event says something to your people

A holiday party or an awards night is one of the few times the whole company is in one room. Done with care, it gives people a reason to connect, puts real recognition in front of their peers, and makes the culture you talk about feel like something they can walk into. Done as an afterthought, it is one more obligation on the calendar.

Most of that difference comes down to design and logistics, which is exactly the part we take on: a room that feels intentional, a schedule that runs on time, and nobody from your office stacking chairs at 10pm.

Corporate events we plan and style

  • Holiday parties and year-end celebrations, from a private dining room to a full ballroom
  • Awards nights and recognition dinners, with a stage, a podium and a photo moment for every winner
  • Employee appreciation events that feel like a thank-you, not a mandatory meeting
  • Company milestones and anniversaries, built around your story and the year
  • Product launches and grand openings in your showroom, office or a rented venue
  • Client appreciation evenings and VIP dinners
  • Team celebrations and family days, indoors or under a tent
  • Nonprofit and school events, from a foundation's signature event to a school dance

If your company gathers for it, ask us. Almost all of these run on the same bones: a room, a schedule and a moment people want to photograph.

Your brand, built into the room

This is where design earns its keep at a corporate event. Instead of a generic party look, the room carries your company's identity:

  • Balloon garlands, arches and columns matched to your brand colors
  • A step-and-repeat or logo backdrop framed by a garland, the photo everyone posts
  • Lit marquee letters spelling your name, your initials or the year
  • Stage and podium framing for speeches and awards
  • Recognition and milestone displays
  • Tablescapes, chiavari chairs and centerpieces in your palette

Three ways to work with us

The same three options we offer every client, sized for a company:

  1. Plan. We build the timeline, line up and coordinate vendors, and keep the day on schedule.
  2. Style. You have the venue and the plan. We design and install the decor and rentals, then strike them.
  3. Plan + Style. Concept to cleanup. Vanessa leads the design and the coordination, and your team shows up as guests.

Every option starts with the same consultation, and you will see a design direction and an all-in price before you pay a deposit.

What corporate event decor costs

Our rental prices are published, so you can build a budget before anyone quotes you. These are the pieces companies book most:

RentalPrice
Gold chiavari chair$6 each
Chair cover$2 each
High boy table$12 each
Black rectangular 6 ft table$15 each
Arch wall$120 each, or 3 for $300
Shimmer wall (red, gold or black)$200
Champagne wall$175
Marquee numbers or letters$65 each
20x20 tent$425

Balloon decor and event styling are quoted after a quick consultation, because two rooms with the same headcount can be very different builds. Delivery, setup and strike are listed as their own lines on your quote. See every rental on our event decor rentals page, or total your list in the online estimator.

How it works

  1. Send the basics. Date, venue, rough headcount, and your brand colors or logo.
  2. Consultation. What the event is for (celebrate, recognize, launch), the photo moment, and the venue's load-in window.
  3. Design direction and an all-in quote. Decor, rentals, delivery, setup and strike, line by line.
  4. Install. We build the room during the venue's load-in window.
  5. Strike. We come back and take it all down, so your team can go home.

When to book a company holiday party

December dates go first. Book decor and rentals 8 to 12 weeks out, and lock the venue well before that. Our Jacksonville corporate event checklist has the full week-by-week timeline, including the city's permit deadlines if your event touches city property, and the party planner cost guide covers what corporate planning runs locally.

“Vanessa and her team did a fabulous job decorating for the Clay Education Foundation’s first signature event! … Everyone raved about the balloon arch.”

Frequently asked questions

Who do you usually work with at a company?

Whoever got handed the event: HR and people teams, office managers, executive assistants, marketing leads and owners. You don't need event experience. Send the date, venue and headcount and we will guide the rest.

Can you use our logo and brand colors?

Yes. Send your brand colors (hex codes help) and logo files. We match the balloon colors to your palette and can build the room around a logo backdrop, marquee initials or the year.

Do you set up and take everything down at the venue?

Yes. We deliver, install during the venue's load-in window and come back to strike, so nobody from your team stays behind to break the room down.

How far ahead should we book a holiday party?

Book decor and rentals 8 to 12 weeks out, earlier for December weekends, which fill first. The venue should be locked well before that.

Can you plan more than one event for us this year?

Yes. If your company has several reasons to gather, such as a holiday party, an appreciation day and a summer family event, tell us about all of them at the first consultation and we will plan around the whole year.

What area do you serve?

We're based in Orange Park and work across Jacksonville, Orange Park, St. Augustine and North Florida, including Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Nassau counties.
